Yes. When you flip it up, you are turning off the microphone. There's also a sound effect that tells you it is turned off.

Hi and thanks for your interest in our product. The Syn Pro Air's microphone can be flipped up and a notification sound will be played when doing so to indicate that the microphone has been muted. This notification can be adjusted in volume in the software ROCCAT Swarm.
