      It depends on the monitor and what connections it supports. This particular cable is for composite connections which is standard with previous generation standard definition TV's and DVD players.

        I used it inside wall and outside wall.... No problem. Don't know if it is rated.

        Can I separate the cables?   (4 Answers)

        The 3 cables are attached side-by-side but I need to separate the composite video cable to connect it between my tv and home theatre. The remaining 2 audio cables are connected between my home theatre and cable box. Can I pull apart the composite video cable without ruining the cable sheath?

          They seem bound together but could separate like licorice. They seem really sturdy
