“Is there a connector that allows putting two optical cables together to make a longer cord? My sound system has an optical connection that a regular optical code won't fit into because it's recessed in the back of the component. I need to have a way to connect the one that came with the system to one that I bought from Best Buy.”

• This is necessary to have for the optical output. I was informed it was necessary to have for my Sony 65" TV. I am glad it operates the way it should. I was informed about the importance to have. It's a great product to own.
