How many joults will this portector take null

if you are referring to how many it can effectively protect against, it should be able to handle 1,080 joules

Believe the manufacturer's spec of 1080 Joules. This number is related to the SURGE voltage and duration and not to the operating voltage or current.

I think you mean joules and 1 joule = 1watt so the device is a 15 amp which means 15000 watts which comes to 15000 joules that’s my understanding
