“can i use the input 1 on the front of the switch to hdmi 3 on my tv side panel i am hooking up an xbox series x to my tv but when i use the input 1 from my xbox it does not work is this box only design for the tv out for hdmi 1 and 4”

Plug the HDMI Switch Box into the HDMI input on your TV. Plug your Xbox into one of the HDMI inputs on the Switch Box.
