Can I use a 4K HDMI Cable & a 1080P HDMI Cable at the same time on this switch? I plan on buying this for a 4K Blu-Ray Player & a Nintendo Switch but for the Switch I only need 1080P. Or do all the ports have to be using the same resolution HDMI cable? null

I used 2 types of hdmi cables...one that was capable of 4k output and a bit pricey....and another just a moderately priced hdmi cable.
I am not using the device on a 4k tv however. All of the inputs work (I'm using 3 of the ports), look good on my television. Hope this helps.

I am by no means a tech guru. 
I am using hdmi cables on a 4k smart tv with this Rockfish.
Have my 1080 blue ray plugged. No problems.

Quality of picture is great and speed is great.
