• You would be much better of with a “Splitter” than a “Swicher” They are designed to ‘split’ the outputs to send to multiple TVs.

• I think Xbox might have to be plugged into TV but you can try plugging it to the switch and check your TV sources to see what switch it shows on. I had to change my stuff up until I found what showed up with the switch and TV. Might take time but it should would. I have a Nintendo plugged to the switch along with other stuff. Everything I plug to my TV works great. You'll have to buy an HDMI cord for the switch to TV unless you have a spare that cord is in the back of the switch. Not the front.
