• the 600 is the refresh rate. The ps3 don't go above 30fps at 720.

• In truth, any HDMI cable will work for practically ANY application that uses that connection. HDMI is the best connection you can have for audio and video.

• No it wouldn't, because HDMI cables work best with 1080p.
