• The Rocketfish adapter worked with my iPad and it's the original (1st generation). If it worked with mine, and since its older than yours, I believe it should work with your iPad 2. Hope this helps! P.S. This charger is great, since it charges just as quickly as the original Apple adapter I had that came with it.

• I don't think the iPad 2 has a lightening connector, so no, it won't work with the iPad 2

• No, since it is a Lightning connector and the iPad 2 uses a 30-pin connector.
