Yes, I had no problems hanging directly on my studs/drywall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this wall mount attached to a sheetrocked wall (dry wall). I recommend attaching it to two wall studs. There are multiple mounting holes in the wall mounting plate that should line up with most typical wall stud spacing. My wall stud spacing is 24 inches on center. The wall bracket attaches securely using lag screws. I don't see any indentation or damage to the dry wall at any of the four attachment points. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works fine on drywall, but MUST be screwed into studs. drywall will NOT hold it. no worries though arm is adjustable to be able to center your TV on your wall, even when studs are not centered on wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you will have to put it in on a stud. depending on how thick your dry wall is and how heavy the tv is, the nails or screws wont be able to hold well with just dry wall. if you are able to locate the wooden studs in your walls, you can drill into them for security.
