“cannot get brackets screwed on to back of tv, spacers and screw do not fit. I have a Toshiba LED 46" HDTV, I try to install the TV brackets to back of tv but the spacers and screw do not fit on either size. Will this not work with this tv and should I take it back or can you help me try to figure it out, do I need to buy different screws, pls help.”

I would strongly suggest you contact geek squad and they will be able to help you. I always pay extra to have my equipment installed by the geek squad so I can avoid doing the work myself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This mount fits a 100mm bolt pattern. (Between all the mount screws). If your issue concerns the bolt size or tread size, and you already bought this mount, the solution will need your patience and detective work. Finding out what size bolt fits in a nut that is mounted to the back of a TV isn't easy. Start with smaller or bigger (obvious). Then, course or fine thread... Go to a big box store and ask the sales person to show you the difference, it's obvious. Once you know this, buy one of each size shorter bolt about the size of the mounting hole. Try them all. One should fit. It could also be a metric bolt. Return the others that don't fit. Get the right length bolt and finish. Most of the big box stores have a bolt guide mounted to the hardware shelf, but that's not going to help you! Unless you want to haul your TV to the big box store and try them all!! :-)
