- Answer I have a 43 inch tv and it sits about 7.5 inches from the top of the tv bracket , but the mount is adjustable , it depends on what size tv your buying

- Answer To remove your TV from the wall mount: Disconnect all cables, then pull down the release cord located below the vertical bracket to unlock your TV from the vertical bracket. Use the hex key to remove the locking screw from the arm assembly and lift your TV. - Answer This works well with anything you just have to know what you’re doing and since I am a master builder and renovator I installed this particular unit into just drywall but I have drywall anchors that each hold 320 pounds so if I put four of them in I have more than 1200 pounds of holding weight on a vertical surface
