No. Always use the amp before the splitter. Then split to the TVs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should not need a separate amp or power supply for each TV, if installed correctly. One power injector is all that is needed to power the amp mounted at the antenna. Here is why. The amplifier itself is directly attached to the antenna, before the feed line to the TV starts. The coax carries the DC current from the power injector to power the amp through the feed line. The feed line does double duty to carry the DC current to the amp at the antenna, and also carries the TV signal to the TV. I think you are confusing the power injector with the actual signal amplifier. The power injector's only job is to deliver a DC voltage to the amplifier at the antenna. Ideally, you should attach any splitters AFTER the power injector module. Given that no splitters are used before (upstream between the antenna and power injector) the power injector, the amp should still work to deliver an amplified TV signal to all TVs. My main concern with splitters installed ahead of the power injector is the splitters will deliver, in addition to the TV signal, the DC voltage directly to the TV's tuner inputs connected above the power injector connection point. In effect, the splitter will not only act to split the TV signal, but also the DC voltage intended for the amp. Not good for the TV tuners! The power injector placed inline ahead of the splitters, or just ahead of the TV Tuner input as per the instructions, normally blocks this DC voltage from downstream (between the power injector and the TV) of the inline connection. For this reason, I would not recommend trying to split the signal above the power injector due to the risk of damaging the tuners of the TVs carrying the injected DC voltage. But to state again, the answer to your question is you do not need amplifiers or power injectors at each TV connection site, only one, as included with the antenna, is required.
