You can split this just like coax for cable. Can reduce the signal though the longer the cable run.

A splitter does degrade the signal based on the number of times it is split, so it might cause you to lose some low reception channels. But a lot of that depends on the initial signal strength. If possible, use the included amplifier before the splitter so the splitter has the strongest possible signal.

I'm not sure signal will be affected at all. Yes on a cable or satellite signal. But I would think an antenna would be different. But I may be wrong .... Although I did stay at a Holiday inn express once in my life.
