The only difference is that the channel that you are on say 4 may not be 4 it may be in the UHF range to get better reception. Stations purchase the frequencies in the UHF band if they can. VHF is harder to pull in. Go to Antenna Man on YouTube and he has all the .org websites that show the real channels can show what stations in your zip code that you can receive well or others that may be on thr fringr.
