• I would NEVER plug any appliance like a microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, etc... into an outlet strip. Sure, electrically it would work but why buy an outlet strip with surge protection for an appliance?? Plug appliances directly into wall outlets. If you simply cannot, then use a dedicated and properly rated single outlet extension cord.
