A:AnswerWhen you installed the bracket where is the knobs place to the outside? You should still be able to slip your hands up behind and snug them. I hang them on 55 inch TVs and able to do that.
A:AnswerThis unit is designed to be screwed into the wall studs. Due to the way that the brackets attach to the wall piece, I would not recommend this unit (my opinion) for a "home made" portable cart.
A:AnswerI have installed this same wall mount for two 70" TV's and one 65" TV with no problems at all. It is very sturdy and secure so it will definitely hold your TV based on weight. The only requirement is that your TV needs to have 4 screw holes from the factory on the back/middle of it. This is how the mount attaches to your TV. As far as I am aware, every modern television comes with these from factory.
Good luck and have a good one!
A:AnswerThere are two catches on the lower side of the two mounting brackets. You will have to pull them both downward at the same time. They may be hard to reach depending on the size TV that you have. I would recommend trying two bent coathangers (with a hook formed on the end) to try to pull them downward. Then rotate the TV outward a little. Have help to then lift the TV upward and outward. I also recommend that before you put the mount back up on the wall, that you get two 18" to 24" black cable ties and use them to lengthen the catch release mechanism. Cut them off so they don't hang down beyond the TV.
