One antenna needed per TV, and yes....an amplifier will very likely be needed.

Please try again later.It depends. probably, Most of the time a preamp will be more than sufficient and you probably wont need any other amplifier. it's always cheaper to go without then buy one at a time as needed. Remember an amplifier cannot amplify want the antenna does not already receive. No amplifier will ever make your preform better than it already does. In fact to some degree it makes it worse. What amplifiers do is amplify over the resistance losses of the coaxial cable and the tuner in your TV.
