“How long is the cord for the reciever ? I would like to run it between cabinets with a narrow space of 5 feet with a width of 3/4 inch. Will either cord from plug to adapter, or adapter to reciever be long enough ?”

They don't use cords per se, it's basic speaker wire, you can use any generic wire to and from.
