Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have the internet plug into the Roku input via a CAT5 cable. Then we go from the Roku, to our tuner via HDMI. Then HDMI to the TV. When your Roku first starts, it needs you to set up what channels you want available. Some are free (like Pluto), others require you to have a subscription (like CBS All-Access) that cost you a few bucks per month. We set up our Netflix and Hulu accounts through internet on our tablets while sitting in front of the TV/Roku. Once we had an account, we tried to access it on the Roku. In most cases, Roku will ask you to go to a specific website (normally a device-activation page for the service you want to add (like Netflix or Hulu). Then you enter a code into the Roku from that site and that's it. Roku will remember you have that account and will be able to access it at any time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need an HDMI cable to hook it into your television and internet service. You can either connect the Roku2 wirelessly or if your modem is close enough, you can connect it directly via an ethernet cable. I have mine connected wirelessly...it is not difficult to do.
