yes you can through a Roku Account. The account is free and there is a multitude of apps to download. Some of the apps require that you have a TV service like optimum or Fios to show that you are paying for those channels even though it's elsewhere. I have TV service on Long Island and use my Roku devices in Pennsylvania. Every few weeks you have to "verify" that you are still paying for a TV service.
