No, it sounds like the problem is your internet bandwidth, I have a Samsung and a Vizio and both stream fine, I have a Roku on my Vizio. Samsung streams thru the T.V. Just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not entirely sure how to answer this except to say that the Roku is able to stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and many many other channels. Broker does have Wi-Fi built-in and seems to do a great job using it. The Roku also does have a RJ-45 cable port so if your Wi-Fi is weak you could go with that sort of solution and it works beautifully. (I myself am using a network that goes through the power cables in my walls - the Netgear Powerline 1200 - to bring a hardwire to an area of my house that has weak Wi-Fi signals and it works well for this setup.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely! One of the reasons I started looking for a streaming device was because my Samsung Smart TV took WAY too long to connect and was a struggle to use. Love the ROKU!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I feel that the Roku Box has a much better processor that my SONY smart TV. Picture quality and buffering are much faster. Why this I really don't know.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mr. V, thank you for your answer. Emil2015, also thank you. The smart TV whether it be Samsung or Sony is not "beefy" enough to handle all of the demands that streaming customers need or so I am told. After doing some research, many people said that the Roku was awesome because you can connect as you say via hdmi and your good to go. Also, I will be upgrading my router from N to AC and this "should" make a huge difference. Again thank you my friend!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Roku will stream to your TV via HDMI port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So, from what i think you are saying, yes the roku will solve your issue. But I will expand just to be clear. I also have a samsung smart tv and the roku. I no longer use the 'smart' features of the tv because I use the roku for all my streaming needs, which actually works better and faster than the tv itself. Especially if you are looking to upgrade to wireless AC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
