Can I watch live local channel null

The Roku does not stream live local channels.

We can via our paid CBS All Access subscription. We pay $5.99 a month and it streams our area's CBS affiliate live.

Not with just a roku. If you buy a Tablo DVR then you can watch live local channels on the Roku using that machine and the Tablo app on the Roku. I just bought a 4-tuner DVR and it is awesome. I can record 4 shows at once and watch live TV on the roku. With Tablo I can also watch my shows on my laptop or phone when I am away from home. This includes both live and recorded shows.

Depending on where you live, you can search for a channel of your local news station (Ex: In San Antonio - KSAT) They may offer live broadcasting of the news. But typicall non stop live local channels I have not seen. The closest thing for live broadcasting of channels is Sling TV which broadcasts limited cable channels.

On Huston its digital so local channels are free but you can get almost unlimited channels with tons and tons of Aps that deliver local news. The only thing local is news every thing else is ABC NBC CBS which are not local and can be added via Aps.

Not for local channels. I use it for Amazon Prime, Netflix, Cinema Now
