Hello Hector! Yes, you need a Roku account to activate your Roku device and access streaming channels. However, you can still use your existing streaming service subscriptions on Roku. Roku's Automatic Account Link feature automatically logs you into the app on your Roku if you've already entered your credentials for a supported subscription. You can also add subscriptions to your Roku Home Screen. A Roku account allows you to: Manage your subscriptions, Personalize your experience, Connect your Roku to the Roku Channel Store, and Manage your channel selection and account preferences. Roku doesn't charge to create an account or activate a device.
