Hello, Minkie10! You can airplay from your Mac to the Roku as long as the Roku Express model 3960 is running Roku OS 10.0 or higher to support Apple homekit and streaming with Airplay 2. Roku also supports Disney + so you can sign in on your Roku and stream without having to airplay. For your question about Wifi, the remote is not checking Wifi but please be noted that Roku streaming players are low-power devices that are designed to remain on and connected to the internet. A permanent internet connection is recommended. If you just turn off your tv while your attached Roku device is streaming something, it will continue to stream unwatched. Get in the habit of returning to the Roku home screen when you are done watching Roku-streamed content. In addition you can turn on the Roku bandwidth saver. If it goes 4 hours with no input from you it will ask if you are still watching. If you don't reply it will then stop the current stream and return to the home screen. You can turn this feature on and off via Settings > Network > Bandwidth saver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why would you even want to send a disney+ show from a laptop to the stick when you can just use the disney+ app on the roku stick to play it?
