A:Answer Once you buy it -- that's it unless you purchase the add-on premium channels through Roku. It has over 400 free channels for you to watch live, and through the Roku Channel it has something similar to DVR where you watch seasons of some of the shows. If you already have "plus" channels like Netflix, Apple TV, Disney, etc, you just go under the media section and sign in, and it saves your information.
