Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku does not support local live TV. If you live in a city check out an antenna for over-the-air TV. I get 88 channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think you can get local stations with any app on a Roku unless Sling TV has them. But in addition to hooking up the Roku to your TV you can hook up a regular HD TV Antenna (where a Cable TV cable attaches) and switch the input on the TV to antenna for local TV. The picture is so awesome with the new signal on the LCD and LED televisions 2005 or newer. I got my antenna at a discount store for $10. It's about a 20 mile one. The better the Antenna the more stations you will get doing a channel search. TV's 2005 or before need a converter box in addition to the antenna.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just have to have an app that you can watch live tv on. There are alot of private channels on the Roku that you can load. Here is the link you can try to find some live tv channels on: http://mkvxstream.blogspot.com/2016/08/roku-private-channels-roku-channels.html
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not seen any choice for local tv channels on the Roku website. By the way, you can choose channels on their website and get them on your device by going to settings and updating your device.
