If your smart tv can not pick up your wifi signal then a roku player would not be able to either. Setup a stronger network. Add a access point closer to where you need the wifi to reach. You can setup multiple access points if need be. Or option 2. Add wifi extenders. If you do not know how to do this then google and youtube is your best friend to find out how.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If I'm understanding your question correctly, if your smart TV won't receive a wifi signal, your Roku device won't either. It requires a fairly strong wifi signal to operate properly, that is, without stuttering or stopping and starting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need a Wifi extender for the router or a stronger router .Roku itself will not provide you with a signal. It is also dependent on the power of your router. Therefore the answer is a stronger router or a wifi extender.
