The input is 110 volt. The output is 12v @ 1 amp. Yes you would need an additional adapter.

If it's not then you may need a transformer to convert to the voltage you need. I am not an electrician but I think an adaptor only converts the type of plug that's needed for the wall, does not convert the current. hope the information was usefull

However, a bigger issue is licensing may prohibit you from using streaming apps in other countries over local internet connections unless you "ghost" your IP so that the service thinks you are using a server in the United States. Apps like pandora, netflix and hulu will not work in certain countries check the streaming service website before you travel..
