No same but as you know distance is based on the router router antenna and router software not the receiving unit. If you need a long distance I bounced Wifi down the street with better router antenna. My router has external screw in antenna
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If range is an issue get a wifi extender. Wi-Fi works horizontal and not vertical, so you need an extender on each level.

I'm doing so now, using a TP-Link router positioned about 10 feet from the device, with excellent results. Keep in mind that 5 GHz wi-fi won't travel as far -- and is more easily impeded by walls -- than 2.4 GHz wi-fi. My Roku Premier Plus box indicates that the device has MIMO technology (basically dual band wi-fi with multiple antennas). I'm unfamiliar with the Roku Premier; Roku's web site should indicate whether or not the Premier has the same technology.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, they have the same internal antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No they are basically the same. Only difference is Premier Plus has HDR and a headphone jack on the remote, otherwise exactly the same.
