Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the UPC tag there is a model # or name. That is the only way to verify what version of the model you are getting. In wikipedia there is whole chart for comparison of all models.

The devices software updates as it goes through the installation process so it wouldn't matter what year it was made unless a whole new design was expected to be released. And unless there is a known flaw in production of a certain model you dont need to worry about when the device was made.
