The Roku Ultra has a USB port, optical audio out, and the remote has a remote finder function, additional buttons for casual gaming, and voice search functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The main difference is the lack of the remote finder. I considered both before I bought the premiere+. It is actually getting dropped by Roku in their effort to clean up all the 9823794832 options they keep putting out. The premiere+ also doesn't have the sd card slot like the ultra I don't think. It could, just writing this answer off the top of my head. I love this model, and don't regret buying the ultra. Well, except when I lose the remote for a few minutes. Other than that, I always love my Roku devices.
