it still connect's the with hdmi to the tv and the sound bar deliver's the sound from the tv so the roku doesn't really factor in it. the hdmi deliver's sound automatically to the tv through the cable. The sound bar just put's the sound what come's through the tv out to you. The Roku 4 has the ability to use the search with talking into the built in mic on the remote.and it come's with headphone's and work's with 4 2k TV's.Take Care I hope this help's
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roku Premiere Plus connects to the TV via HDMI, and as long as the TV's sound output is configured to come out of the sound bar, you can still enjoy it using the Roku. The Roku Ultra (the top-end one) has an optical audio connector in the back of it if you want to connect the soundbar directly to the Roku, but you pay a premium for it ($30 more than the Premiere Plus at full price). Overall, I think the Premiere Plus is the best buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My experience is with the Roku3 (am considering an upgrade to the Premier Plus). You may connect the Roku to your TV/display using HDMI, and then use the TV/display's audio digital out to go to the input on your sound bar. This has worked flawlessly for me. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In any available HDMI port. Some TV's do not sent anything but two channel sound throught there optical connection. I know high end Lg's and Vizio's do sent 5.1 sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDMI to your TV. Then, your TV to your soundbar. Ifyou hooked your Roku direct to the soundbar, you would not have the video interface needed to operate the Roku. So even if you had the option to connect direct to your soundbar, you would not want to do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The premier plus does not have a ton link so it needs to be sent to the TV then to the sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roku connects to your TV with an HDMI cable, and your TV will still be the output for the sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDMI cable and it is a Roku 4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku does not connect with optical. HDMI cable and electrical outlet is all you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roku Premier + does not have an optical output so you would have to use your HDMI port instead. Does your sound bar have an HDMI input and separate HDMI output? If so, it will probably work. The Roku 4 has an optical output. I would not buy the Premier + for your sound bar. You may have to press the sound bar remote a number of times in a different order just to get it to work.
