Yes this product does get warm. There is no on/off switch, however I found that if you have an USB port on your TV you can plug the power cord into that and it will act as an on/off switch when you turn the TV on and off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no physical on/off switch, but you can always unplug the DC wire from the back. I’ve never noticed mine get super warm and I’ve left it on overnight before.
