• Hello WannaKnow! If your internet is a Gigabit connection, hardwiring via an Ethernet cable would not make the picture any clearer, but it would eliminate any Wi-Fi degradation. If you would like to hardwire your Streambar Pro to your router, you would need a compatible USB Ethernet adaptor and a Ethernet cable. • You can't hook up with just an hdmi cord. Your TV must be hdmi/arc capable or have a arc hookup. I can't install mine for that reason. A smart TV is a must.
