Roku has replacement remotes available for $30, which has the headphone jack built in. However, with the Roku app on your phone, you can change the audio to use your own corded or bluetooth earphones, in addition to using your app in place of the remote. So the question is whether you want a physical headphone jack integrated for $30 or just use the free app to sync to the device, which will allow you to control everything you would on the physical remote, plus switching the audio to your earbuds/headphones connected to your mobile phone. Two other notes: the app remote DOES offer voice search just like the remote does. But, the "private listening" feature allows you to listen through your own headphones for streaming services, but NOT Games. Hope this helps!
