• I just got one and yes it works as a bluetooth speaker too! The only small difference is that the first time you pair it with a device, you have to go through the tv to get to the roku settings. But after you've done that once, you no longer need to have the TV on to play your music from that device. Very easy.

• It does but unfortunately the only time I tried it you had to have to tv on as well.
