• Yes it will work, it will reach up to 4K in case you ever find yourself with an upgraded tv. No the remote is not backlit but they do sell replacements remotes that are preprogrammed for such TVs and Roku devices to work together on the same remote. (They are bright white lights)

• Hi! This should not be an issue as all Roku devices work with any TV with an HDMI port, the remote controls are not backlit.
