“Can anyone simply enlighten me how long the batteries work if I use the headphone?”

• It depends on how much you use the erabuds. I watch quite a bit of TV every day and almost always use the earbuds so I have to change batteries every 3 to 4 days but for the ordinary user would probably have to change them every couple of months.
