Hello John! The Roku platform provides the flexibility to Add and Remove Channels directly from the Home Screen interface. You can also browse all of the available channels online at: https://channelstore.roku.com/browse

This particular device model was a gift to my granddaughter, but I've owned enough roiku devices to tell you that if youtube is not one of the pre-enabled apps, it is a simple matter of selecting it from the available apps.
