• I would recommend getting the Roku, However if you are listing signal you may consider getting a router extender.

• Not enough information to answer the question. Why did your Vizio TV apps stop working? Are you having internet connectivity issues? If so, the Roku stick will not help. If you have a faulty television, it may work, but would depend on what the problem is with the TV.

• If your VIZO tv has an HDMI port - then the Roku streaming stick will work fine. The Roku streaming stick pretty much offers all the same apps as the competition (ChromeCast/AppleTV/Amazon TV Fire). If your TV has a USB port on the back, then powering the stick is really simple - else you'll have to use the included plug/usb adapter to power the stick - which if you don't an available plug near the back of the TV, it could present a challenge.
