There's no reason to stream from your kindle fire if you are using AMAZON PRIME roku has that channel you just add the channel and enter your user name & password when promted.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you should be able to stream through the Roku to your TV. I was able watch on the TV a slide show of my photos and movies that were on the IPad. It does have CC but I don't know if you can CC on something being streamed from your tablet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can stream via a web browser just like on Apple TV or Chromecast. If the Kindle Web browser allows the "cast" function youll be good. I know the Youtube app will work for casting. You might want to look into a Amazon Fire Stick if your looking to stream from the Kindle. However id highly recommend more resources and capabilities that youll get with Roku. Youll be happier with the Roku.
