Personally Netflix, Amazon has great stuff too but it they charge for the newer movies eve when you have a prime account. So I stick with Netflix
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best answer I can give you is depends on your situation. I have had both and the one thing I can say about Netflix is everything you see is a part of the fee you pay each month. Many of the shows I wanted to watch on amazon required paying from .99 to 3.99 an episode (this is why we went and got Hulu plus for 7.99 so we can watch all the shows that are not immediately on Netflix). My family decided to go with Netflix and Hulu Plus because they compliment each other well. I can watch the new shows the next day (except CBS) and then I can watch a whole series of a show on Netflix. Admittedly, I have not looked at Amazon's programming for a year so they could have changed and added a significant amount of programming and the amazon prime membership would have the added bonus of getting free 2 day shipping. For pure programming, I would choose Netflix but after doing some research maybe you would decide differently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First off let me say that we have both. Amazon is included with our prime membership ( which is great). But we almost always check Netflix first. So if I had to pick a service it would be Netflix. We've had the service since 2006 i think. They are always improving. Good luck streaming is great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Netflix is awesome for getting TV shows & movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Netflix gives you more movie selections for $7.99 a month (that's around $96 a year) including original Netflix programming while amazon prime costs $99 a year which allows you to watch a large number of movies and shows for free (most new movies will need to be purchased separately) gives you the extra ability to order items from Amazon directly with free 2 day shipping. If you are just gonna binge watch movies and TV shows, Netflix is the way to go. If you shop on Amazon but still want to binge watch movies and TV shows, Amazon prime is your best bet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would definitely recommend Netflix over Amazon. To me, there is no comparison.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both and tend to watch Netflix more. Netflix seems to have a larger movie selection while Amazon seems to have the newer TV series. One thing I really don't like with Amazon is that they will always try to show you the "pay per view" videos even after selecting "prime video only". I enjoy Amazon because of the free shipping as I do most of my shopping there. They both have high resolution videos and both services are nice to have. Amazon will have the newer videos and quite a bit of them aren't included with the "prime membership" with rental fees of $5.99 and up. Our household watches more from Netflix but we do enjoy having both. I think both offer benefits that are quite similar. I enjoy trying out TV series that I may not have watched on regular TV. Neither Netflix nor Amazon have advertisements, unlike Hulu. Hulu has the TV series within a day of original airing but I canceled my Hulu subscription because the advertisements were as bad as watching regular, aired, TV. I really like both Netflix and Amazon Prime. Don't think you would regret either one. We use ROKU for our streaming video. Love the Roku. Very simple to install and use. It always works flawlessly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with Netflix since I had Amazon for a short time and didn't like the list of movies they had.
