Can I use this device for xfinity steaming ? null

Roku does carry the Xfinity App, however you must have a contract with Comcast/Xfinity to use the app. The app mirrors your subscription... mine includes 120+ channels all which are available on the Xfinity app. You can view live TV, there is also a search option as well as On Demand. The app shows a channel guide grid which you choose the channel you wish to view live TV on. This app eliminates the need for additonal cable boxes.

Yes! That’s what I just connected and you don’t have to pay the box rental fees any longer.
