It has a micro USB port to run the power cord. Your TV's USB port might or might not produce enough power for it. I have a streaming stick for two TVs in my house. On one of them, the USB port in the TV works fine. For the other TV though, when I plug it into the TVs USB, I get a message on the Roku screen saying it is not getting enough power and to plug it into an outlet using the included USB-to-wall outlet converter, so I have the wire hanging down the wall from behind the TV down to a power strip. There is really no way to know if your particular TV's USB port will output enough power for the Roku until you get it home and try it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can either run the stick off of a USB port from the back of your TV (IF the USB port is powered), or you can plug it into a wall outlet. I do the latter so that I can keep my USB ports free for other things on the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This will run through the USB port.
