There is no charge for Roku but you must have WiFi to use it.

Please try again later.Roku won’t charge if you download the Xfinity TV app. I think the only requirement is that you have to be signed up for Comcast’s cable service and have at least one cable box in the house. Watch out with using other apps on the Roku, like Netflix, cause Comcast seems to have data limits throughout the US now and may charge overage fees.

Please try again later.No fee to use the device, just in the streaming services, if Comcast has a specific service app check the Roku app list to see if there is a comparable app. Don't have Comcast here but expect Cox is very similar. Also just making sure the box in question is not a router or modem, don't mean to be insulting or anything just making sure.
