• Hello MovieMan! Yes, the remote for the Roku Ultra is an RF remote so you do not have to point and click with it in line of sight like and IR remote.

• Yes, i have my roku uktra connected to a projector behind me and it still picks up with no issues.

• yes but can be sporadic as any remote works best with line of sight
