• Biggest difference is that the Roku Ultra has a wired network port so you aren't stuck using only WiFi.

• I would suggest that you go to Roku's website and directly compare the two using their "Compare" feature. There are a few things that the Ultra can do, like Dolby Atmos, USB playback, and a couple of other items. Easy to use.

• A user can attach an ethernet cable to the Roku Ultra. I found this very useful in areas where I get a weak signal.
