Not for using the ROKU itself , but there may be a charge for specific channels ; ie Showtime and or MLB Network or Netflix. Be aware there are free channels too. The Roku Channel is one .

There is no annual fee for Roku. They actually have a free Roku channel; you will have to set up an account with them. There are other services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. that are paid services. Hope this helps.
