Will the ROKU ULTRA work with a sound bar? null

Run an optical cable from your TV’s optical out to the sound bar’s optical in. Alternatively, you could use any audio out (Line Out, Earphone Jack) to your sound bar.

Your sound bar is getting the audio signal from your TV. Roku needs an HDMI cable directly into TV. You could hook up you TV audio out to your stereo, sound bar and get great results. I have 4 components thru my TV going to a high end amp and pre amp. Sounds great
